Brilliant location. Delightful staff absolutely committed to ensuring our comfort and assisting us in every possible way. Great breakfast. The room was as described - so: not very big but comfortable with everything we could want. We were high up, had a glimpse of the river and could sleep with the glass doors open if we wanted - it was private.

The hotel is in a great location of district 1 with everything around: best restaurants, bars, massages & spas. The design of the room & hotel is eye-catchy, plus a great value for the money. The staff - specially the waiters & breakfast staff - are super attentive & suportive. (However, note that not 100% hotel receptionists are helpful comparing to those in other hotels, we need some lucks to meet the right ones).

I initially booked La Opera Hotel for just one night, as it was fully booked on my original travel dates. But after experiencing its charm, I was thrilled to secure additional nights—this place truly won me over. The location is incredibly convenient, and though my room had a balcony facing a busy street, I was amazed at how peaceful it remained thanks to excellent soundproofing. The staff went above and beyond, even helping me arrange a fantastic full-day Mekong Delta tour. I had initially booked another hotel/apartment that turned out to be a huge letdown, especially compared to the beautiful stays I’ve had elsewhere. But being led to La Opera felt like divine redirection—this hidden gem brought back the joy of my journey. Highly recommended!

Everything about the hotel was fine. We had a nice, spacious room with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom set-up is a little strange and when you use the shower, the shower cubicle and adjoining toilet area get flooded, but you just need to put mats/towels down to dry it. The bath in the bedroom area - not for us :-) The breakfast was fine, not as much choice as in other places we stayed, but fresh fruit, freshly cooked omlette and local options available. Staff were pleasant.

It’s very new and beautiful. We appreciate the design of room & friendly staffs! The room was quiet. The breakfasts buffet was adorable.

Location was quite good. Plenty of places to eat around. Staff were particularly nice and helpful. I asked for a quiet room and they gave me a room at the back so I slept well. I didn’t have time finish breakfast so the packed me some to take with me. I really appreciate the extra kindness. I would stay here again. I liked that the hotel was down a small street and not on a busy road.

Breakfast options were limited but the food was pleasant. Room was clean and space was generous. The area is relatively safe for a single lady traveller even though there were bars/massage places dotted around offering dodgy services. A short walk to the main area and there's plenty of food options, especially japanese so it is convenient.
