Brilliant location. Delightful staff absolutely committed to ensuring our comfort and assisting us in every possible way. Great breakfast. The room was as described - so: not very big but comfortable with everything we could want. We were high up, had a glimpse of the river and could sleep with the glass doors open if we wanted - it was private.

I initially booked La Opera Hotel for just one night, as it was fully booked on my original travel dates. But after experiencing its charm, I was thrilled to secure additional nights—this place truly won me over. The location is incredibly convenient, and though my room had a balcony facing a busy street, I was amazed at how peaceful it remained thanks to excellent soundproofing. The staff went above and beyond, even helping me arrange a fantastic full-day Mekong Delta tour. I had initially booked another hotel/apartment that turned out to be a huge letdown, especially compared to the beautiful stays I’ve had elsewhere. But being led to La Opera felt like divine redirection—this hidden gem brought back the joy of my journey. Highly recommended!

It’s very new and beautiful. We appreciate the design of room & friendly staffs! The room was quiet. The breakfasts buffet was adorable.

Breakfast options were limited but the food was pleasant. Room was clean and space was generous. The area is relatively safe for a single lady traveller even though there were bars/massage places dotted around offering dodgy services. A short walk to the main area and there's plenty of food options, especially japanese so it is convenient.
